Montecatini is a stable for Walnut Creek as it opened October 17, 1989, the day of the Loma Prieta earthquake in California. Since then, Montecatini Ristorante has become a place for "regulars" to enjoy a true Italian dining experience. We are a loud and bustling environment where many have come to say we're like family. All our dishes are meticulously prepared with the finest and freshest ingredients. Our pastas and entrees are served piping hot from our kitchen to your table. Montecatini has been awarded "Best of East Bay" for Best Italian Restaurant in the East Bay Area by Diablo Magazine for several years. As of January 2022 our chef, Ermes Paulin, has passed ownership down to two of Montecatini's long-time employees, Terrance and Taylor George. Mooie Italiaanse kaart met goede keuze mogelijkheden (niet teveel dus de kwaliteit was perfect). Heerlijke pasta gegeten en iemand een pizza. De pizza was minder (beetje verbrand aan de rand en erg vet door de kaas maar dat is Amerikaans vrezen we). De pasta’s waren heerlijk voor Amerika een beetje kleine porties zelfs ). Toetjes eveneens heerlijk. Een van ons moet glutenvrij eten en dat hebben ze perfect georganiseerd!

    We have been coming to this Melo’s for about a year. It is one of our favorite places to go on a date night. The staff are professional and attentive. The food is delicious and presented well.

    The pulpo and salad 1st courses were excellent as were the pizza and pasta courses. Gelato and panna cotta finished the evening. We will be back!

    My friends and I wanted to take a break from midterms so we went out for dinner! Our server was extremely attentive to what we were looking to order and recommended drinks that would pair well with our food. The pasta was delicious!!!!!! We got the chicken pesto, braised lamb, and strozzatelli. Every dish was so good with the portion sizes being just right. Highly recommend!

    Creekwood Restaurant consistently provides excellent quality meals. The staff is friendly but not overbearing and very knowledgeable about the items on their menu. An atmosphere that delivers for a casual or fine dining experience.
