As well as intimate and cosy meals for couples or small groups, we are also a noted venue for group bookings, including cocktail classes, birthdays, hen parties, and weddings - all of which may be combined with a two/three-course meal, buffet, or something more bespoke. Once a month we host the Oliver's bottomless brunch, with option to upgrade to bottomless cocktails. The Michelin Starred, Fordwich Arms, located in the smallest town in England, dates as far back as 1828. Daniel and Natasha Smith took over The Fordwich Arms in 2017 and were awarded a Michelin Star within the first year, as well as being in the top 100 gastro pubs in the UK, multiple culinary awards, notable wine awards and various other accredits, a testament to their hair work and talent. The seasonal menus focus on provenance, showcasing the best of local Kentish ingredients, sourced directly from local farms and producers. Open Tuesday to Sunday with food served all day from noon.We now have 3 Giant heated Tipis, they provide lots of fresh air and a lovely open environment, they are also heated.Formerly an 18th Century farmhouse boasting exposed beams, oak floors, exposed brickwork and oak tables. This leads to a very relaxed and cosy atmosphere with candle lit tables and real flame stoves.The cuisine is typically modern European, classically cooked using cornerstones such as stock pots to create their sauces with a brigade that has a passion for what they do.     My Wife and I went to The Moody Mare in Wrotham yesterday for the first time. The food and service were exceptional. One of the best Gastro Pub meals we’ve had. Proper size portions. Even the music that was playing was brilliant. We would certainly recommend this Gastro Pub & we’re definitely coming back.

    fab food and wonderful service! We visited on Wednesday and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, so friendly, attentive and incredibly helpful. The food was delicious, and the service made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    I’ve only been here for lunch before but last night we went for dinner & thoroughly enjoyed it . I had the seafood linguine which was amazing & my husband had lamb shank which he really enjoyed too . The staff were very friendly & didn’t rush us either . 10/10 we will definitely be coming back here soon .
