August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and Spain.August is open for dinner from 5pm on Thursday - Saturday, and from 11:30am for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Great location for a special dining experience with a partner or group of close friends in a relaxed environment with excellent table service. I took my wife here for her 58th birthday and she absolutely loved it! The dining experience was made extra special as the restaurant team acknowledged the occasion with comments and a small gift for her. Thanks to the Rothwell's Team.

Went here on the Sunday for the first time. There was 3 of us, and we got a flatbread and a meat and cheese platter to share. The food was excellent and very filling we couldn't eat all of it. The staff are very helpful and polite. Excellent service. We will be back.
