Letra House is an underground restaurant and late-night wine bar, hidden beneath Palazzo Salato in Sydney’s CBD. Specialising in Austrian and German cuisines, Maggie’s Potts Point brings a slice of Europe to Sydney. Not your typical Austrian and German restaurant, Maggie’s is casual, relaxed and more like a cafe than a beerhall – which we love. Open from frühstuck (breakfast), right through until abendessen (dinner), you’ll find a wide selection of dishes you’re guaranteed to love. We recommend starting with duck terrine with cranberry sauce; smoked trout salad and deep-fried camembert, before a main of Wiener schnitzel served with cabbage salad and Maggie’s signature rosti; goulash cooked in a spicy paprika sauce with homemade spätzle (flour dumplings) or beef medallions smothered in pepper sauce.     We went here for my husband surprise bday dinner. We didn’t know what to expect cause it was a mix of good and semi good reviews. In my opinion,I can tell you the food was great! I love the yiayia home type experience. I am not Greek but my friends are and the food was great. We literally had 12 people and everyone said it was amazing! The pita bread and the tarramaaaa 10/10 the lamb, the salad, everything and the owner was so nice even gave us shots at the end! Just because! So defs recommend - thanks to the staff they were fun, vibey to the point we got there at 7.30 and left when they closed. it really did feel like having dinner at someone’s house.

    Our second time back to the Club. We had interstate guests so delighted for them to sample the excellent food and a great wine list. Will be back again

    Great food as before, we got the moreton bay bug with somked tomato again, very yummy sauce. The line caught snapper was a highlight, very fresh very delicious. Prawn crumpets also excellent. Will return.
