Great service creating a nice atmosphere, great food

As usual, the staff at London St Brasserie were welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The food, as expected, was well presented and met our high expectations. I made a request to the waitress that I would like garden peas instead of mushy with my cod and chips. Unusually, the chef omitted to make the change. The waitress noticed this and when I came to pay the bill, she apologised and offered me a complimentary box of fudge, which I gratefully accepted. My guests, who had not been to LSB before were impressed with the experience and vowed that they would return, when the treat would be on them. I have recommended the LSB to many people and would do so again.

Another wonderful relaxing Improvised Monday evening dinner as not much in the fridge as I just returned from a trip away. Lovely seasonal Autumnal Pitiviers dish for mains and yummy Rhum Baba for dessert. Just perfect!
