As always great service from a very friendly staff. Food was excellent and the rib and steak combo was a remarkably good value. The number of ribs with the steak had been struggling to finish. Highly enjoyed my meal

Fabulous meal at The Cartford to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Very attentive staff, we were given a glass of bubbles each on arrival for our anniversary, which was a lovely surprise. Food was excellent, the ambiance was great and we had a fab table with a lovely view of the river.

The staff were professional and pleasant. The service was reasonably quick. The food was tasty.

My family and I have been a few times now over the past six months, the Royal Shaker Bar is lovely inside and out, it's placed directly opposite the esplanade walkway near the Zebra crossing, this provides easy access across the busy road. On each occasion the staff have presented fantastic, can't do enough to make you feel comfortable and valued. Each one operates with an "I Can attitude", also great customer skills. The food is amazing really nice and well presented and priced reasonably, hence why we've been back on a few occasions. I would state that this is one of our go to places to eat and relax in the lovely surroundings.
