We were staying at the White Lion as a base to tour parts of Hampshire and catch up with friends and family. Eight of us met for dinner last night and had a fabulous evening with excellent food and friendly service. Would recommend the sharing fish platter as a starter. Chicken Kiev, Belly Pork and the Curry were the stars of the mains, with the burger, fish & chips, and pie of the day close seconds. Good selection of desserts. Overall we were very satisfied and represented good value for money.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Cricketers last night, the menu is extensive with delicious homemade dishes, we had trout fish cakes which were so tasty, partridge starter, brill & burgers mains, all were high quality and cooked to perfection. The staff were delightful, service attentive, friendly & knowledgeable. Looking forward to our next visit already
