A superb restaurant in the centre of Horsforth! Delightful and authentically French in every respect from the decor, welcome, menu and service to the fabulous food. On a stormy Friday lunchtime, the customers rolled in steadily to build a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We both had the set menu because we just couldn’t decide between the irresistible à la carte options. Brilliant!

Where do I start? My wife and I arrived in York earlier than expected, so we decided to see if we could get our table early, we were greeted by Richmond who gave us a warm welcome and said he would be happy to accommodate us which, was wonderful. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming with a lovely Moroccan feel to the decor, we were seated and Richmond brought menus and water to the table. My wife happened to mention it was my birthday and Richmond brought me a mocktail on the house which was very much appreciated. I had the vegetable tagine and my wife had the chicken tagine both were brought out piping hot along with a basket of bread each. The food was absolutely delicious, very well spiced without being over the top. This was our first outing to a Moroccan restaurant so we were very impressed. After the main meal Richmond very kindly gifted me a dessert and another drink for myself and my wife. All in all this was a brilliant experience and Richmond is a credit to the establishment, we would not hesitate to return and would very happily recommend.
