Lovely as ever , great service , good food and a fabulous place to meet dear friends for lunch

My husband and I felt very welcome as soon as we arrived, we were early and our table was ready so we were able to sit down straight away. Great service great food too! Love the way the roast dinner was served all the sides were in seperate dishes. Plenty of it too! Will definately be back very soon. Thankyou The Griffin

Amazing Stunning setting , lovely food, brilliant service by all staff members. Polite and very attentive and all staff went above and beyond. The young man who served us our drinks, hats off to him for going up and down the stairs 100 times 😂🥰

We had a table for two on a Friday night. The restaurant was fairly quiet but we had drinks in the lounge with canapés while we chose our menu. The restaurant rang earlier in the day to check dietary requirements which was useful as I don’t eat meat. They then modified the taster menu to take out the meat dishes. The food was incredibly good, they were just into their autumn menu and it was all tasty and well thought out. The Smokey trout in particular stood out. Our waitress was fantastic, she was from Spain and was lovely and friendly and extremely knowledgable about wine. We had a super meal and evening, it was a shame it was so quiet but this didn’t detract from our wonderful meal.
