Populairste Europese restaurants in East Nashville

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Nashville and never ever disappoints. Every meal transcends any expectation (and having been there many times my expectations are already pretty high). Going to Peinsula makes it hard to go to any other restaurant because very few are as good or as consistent. Every element of the dining experience makes me happy-the service is stellar, the drinks inventive, the vibe is somehow chill, classy and comfortable, the music is always great, and the food just rocks. Yeah they have the James Beard but they should have at least one Michelin Star if not two. I have nothing but gratitude for Craig, Yuriko and Jake for creating a culinary oasis and my personal happy place.

We had a wonderful evening at The Catbird Seat. The open kitchen and counter seating made the experience especially enjoyable, giving us a chance to watch the chefs at work and hear them explain each dish. The food was imaginative and beautifully presented, with some surprising combinations of flavors and textures. The little clam preparation and a caviar dish were particular favorites. I also chose the wine pairing, which added another dimension to the evening. Our sommelier was knowledgeable and engaging, and I especially enjoyed hearing his descriptions of each wine before tasting it. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone seemed genuinely enthusiastic about what they were doing, and they made the experience feel welcoming and relaxed despite the elaborate preparation and service. It was a lovely evening, full of interesting food, thoughtful details, and enjoyable interactions. I’m glad we had the opportunity to experience it.

We try and come here quarterly, because it's our hands-down favorite Nashville restaurant. The staff are friendly, super skilled, and the pacing is always perfect in timing. Of course, the food (and wine pairings) are always fantastic.
