My wife and I came to Cococina for her birthday dinner, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was incredible, and the service matched it. For starters, we got the grilled octopus. It had a great charcoal flavor—my wife thought it was a little salty, but I like salt myself, so it hit the mark perfectly for me. We also got the roasted cauliflower, which is an absolute must order. It sounds simple, but whatever sauce they put on it takes it to another level. Finally, we tried the seafood pastilla. It’s a solid concept but felt like it was missing a little punch, maybe a bit of Moroccan spice or spicy sauce, I dipped it in the cauliflower sauce to help it, It totally elevates it, so I highly recommend ordering those two together. For our main, we went with the rib steak. It was absolutely amazing grilled to a perfect medium-rare, and the butter on top added a really great extra layer of flavor. The cocktails were solid too, especially the spicy margarita and the passion martini my wife had. I also want to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Andrea. She mentioned it was her first day, and she absolutely crushed it. If she wasn't sure about something, she had no problem asking a colleague to make sure we were taken care of. The staff even saved us from ordering a platter that would have been way too much food for two people. You can tell they actually care about your experience and aren't just trying to upsell you. The rest of the team was great too, and the guy who greets you at the door takes awesome photos! Thanks to the whole team for a great night. You made my wife happy Happy wife, happy life!
