Abrasamar is a culinary space that celebrates the flavors of the Gulf of Mexico, bringing to life the rich traditions of Tabasco, Campeche, and Yucatán.Chef Fernando Marrufo, inspired by the tastes of his childhood and the places where he grew up, has crafted a menu that blends authenticity with creativity. Each dish tells a story of the sea and the land, honoring local producers and ingredients from the southern Gulf of Mexico. From the crystal shrimp of Campeche and the snook of Tabasco to the Maya octopus of Yucatán, every bite highlights the region’s bounty. Spices such as the fiery Tabasco pico paloma chili, local allspice, and the pink salt of Celestún add depth and character to every creation.Come savor our signature dishes: the thick tortilla filled with shrimp and melted cheese, oysters with chiltepín, the Frontera-style white ceviche, our fresh tuna tostada, and the esmedregal encacahuatado in a rich peanut sauce.
