Bar Douro brings Portuguese food and wine to the heart of Greek Street, Soho. Small plates of petiscos and pratinhos sit alongside the grill, where the beef is vaca velha: cows of six years or older from Portugal’s native breeds, given time to deepen in flavour. The breed changes each week, from Maronesa, Minhota, Mirandesa, Arouquesa and Barrosã, and it is cooked simply over the open grill. Excellent early evening meal. This was our first visit to The Port House and we were very impressed with the range of dishes available and the quick and efficient service. Location is very convenient for dining before or after going to a theatre in The Strand.

Great food and value for money. The staff are very welcoming and done their best to accommodate our needs…. Felt like visiting a family members home. The chef needs a raise! Great vibes will defo be returning soon!
