The portions were more than large and the staff were incredibly friendly. At first I was a little skeptical as the restaurant was slightly empty but the food was absolutely delicious and filling, I truly don't understand why this spot isn't more popular. Would recommend to everyone, with prime service and prime food what's not to love!

The Hermitage was recommended by a few people in town and we had to try it. When we got there, we were greeted by Riju the general manager. He spent some time with us, explaining the history of the building and showing us around the restaurant The food and the drinks are the best we’ve had since visiting this area. We will come again here on our next visit and highly recommend.

One of the best Sunday lunches in Northamptonshire

We came for lunch and shared a pint of prawns, artichokes, patatas bravas, chimichurri sardines and an aubergine dish. All delicious and the sardines were especially good. Lovely to have a carafe of wine and friendly efficient service. The Greedy Gordons group are regulars for us and I highly recommend them
