Found in the original entertainment & commercial district, LOCAL Public Eatery is surrounded by the fun vibes of Stephen Ave & buzzing energy of Downtown Calgary. Stop in for a quick lunch meeting, a happy hour session after a long day at the office or make it a night & come back the day after for a LOCAL Burger or weekend brunch cure. We have 20 taps with 7 that rotate around new picks & seasonal brews, an open kitchen that brings our menu to life with only the freshest ingredients & highest standards, as well as 14 TV's so you don't miss a game, highlight or any action for that matter. And if you prefer to play games & place friendly wagers instead (may we suggest fish tacos?), there's shuffleboard & crokinole for that.

We believe that a true craft brewery brings individuals together to enjoy some well-crafted beer, eat delicious food, celebrate life’s milestones and most importantly cherish one another’s company. 17th Avenue is iconic for just this reason; bringing people together in good times and bad.In the early stages of our city, the area we all know as the Beltline was called the No.5 Trolley Line. It proudly carried all the hard working Calgarians that shaped our city into what it is today. Our goal at Trolley 5 is to continue to bring the community together through great food, beer and friendship. With beers like our Turntable Lager winning Best Lager/Pilsner at the Canadian Brewing Awards, there is lots to try in our Community Brewpub. We are dedicated to our craft and we can’t wait to share it.

Our one-of-a-kind Canadian themed sports bar & grill has an extensive menu of appetizers, entrees, drinks and amazing specials every night of the week. You’ll note our Canadian decor starts right when you walk up to our huge Inukshuk at our doors and continues throughout the restaurant in a “cheeky” Canadian fashion. We promise, when you come to The Canadian Brewhouse, you’ll instantly feel at home, because our house is your house…only we have way more TVs! You won’t find a better selection of screens anywhere for the sports you love! We even provide tabletop speakers for those nights when multiple sports and teams are playing.

Great beer, chicken wings were quite big and meaty, and atmosphere was great. Very cool spot with the brewery inside the restaurant.

My friend and I had such a great time bowling at National! Ryan took care of us and went above and beyond with his service. He was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back! Also, a huge shout-out to the bartender who made us countless drinks throughout the night! 😄 Thank you for such a great experience!
