Perfect from start to finish, restaurant was busier than staff expected but they managed brilliantly. Food was excellent, pork belly starter was melt in the mouth good, rock lobster main was also excellent & the affogato dessert was best I’ve ever had. Will definitely return !

7 of us had the best food and experience to celebrate a 21st birthday. Food excellent, staff attentive and friendly, they couldn't do enough for us.

I stayed at the Hopton Crown to break a long journey home, and booked dinner as a treat. I wasn't disappointed! I had sea bream, served with confit potato and tenderstem broccoli, with a caviare cream sauce. I asked the waitress about the fish (whether it was whole, or filleted), and was happy that it was fillets. Two of them! Perfectly cooked. The confit potato, not an easy thing to cook perfectly, was just that! Keeping it's shape, but soft and creamy. The tenderstem was also perfect, dark and al dente. Absolutely delicious meal! I had a lemon posset afterwards, rich and indulgent, but not too sweet...the perfect dessert to complete the evening. Such a lovely place, with lovely friendly staff...I would definitely stay (and dine!) here again.

Food was amazing, service was excellent. Was extremely grateful that we were surprised with a small desert for our anniversary. Both my girlfriend and I thought the food was the nicest we’ve had, while expensive it was definitely worth it and a great aesthetic and atmosphere to the restaurant
