I was lucky enough to spend my bday at Jolene's. The food was amazing, the cocktails were top-notch, and the atmosphere was intimate and wonderful. I was able to hear 2 young music artists and they were also great. Think jazz club but with a distinctly Dolly feel

Hands down the best restaurant I’ve been to ALL year! And honestly, may be my best restaurant of all time. The food, drinks, service, everything was amazing! I was visiting from out of town and this was recommended. I’ve been to many tapas restaurants so was excited to try different things. It’s rare for me to have a restaurant that I would for sure go back to, especially one that’s a little more upscale. Even though I’m not from Nashville and don’t go often, this is one restaurant that I must go back to again if I’m ever in town and will recommend to anyone visiting. I can’t express how great this place is. If you’re a foodie or just someone that appreciates good food and likes to try something different and enjoys different textures, flavors, and food, this is a must try. I can’t wait to go back again. The pork cheek tacos were by far my favorite thing on the menu. I was a tad bit nervous to try the octopus but this place does it right! So tender and flavorful. I was also surprised by the rellenos. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s like an elevated jalapeno popper. So phenomenal. We ended the night with the basque cheesecake. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the black garlic dulce de leche but it complimented the cheesecake so well! I could have a spoonful of that. The cheesecake itself was amazing.

I loved it so much, that I went twice in less than a week to celebrate my birthday with family and friends!

This is my favorite restaurant in all of Nashville and never ever disappoints. Every meal transcends any expectation (and having been there many times my expectations are already pretty high). Going to Peinsula makes it hard to go to any other restaurant because very few are as good or as consistent. Every element of the dining experience makes me happy-the service is stellar, the drinks inventive, the vibe is somehow chill, classy and comfortable, the music is always great, and the food just rocks. Yeah they have the James Beard but they should have at least one Michelin Star if not two. I have nothing but gratitude for Craig, Yuriko and Jake for creating a culinary oasis and my personal happy place.

Dark cozy atmosphere with super comfortable velvet booths. Very creative and delicious tapas size plates which were great to sample and share. Cocktails were perfection.
