Super leuke cocktailbar met een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Leuke bediening. Ik heb een heerlijke cocktail gedronken en we hebben 2 hapjes gegeten, beiden waren heerlijk. Gezellig ingerichte bar, voldoende ruimte. Echte aanbeveling!
La Nacional has been feeding Spaniards and Latin Americans in New York since the 19th century from its historical brownstone in the heart of what was Little Spain. Today, our volunteer-run non-profit has opened its doors to create a community restaurant and gathering place for everyone to enjoy. The Society sponsors the visas of Spain top young chefs - providing them with an apartment in our brownstone to draw inspiration from La Nacional’s past and establishing a culinary epicenter in New York City for Spanish food. Our goal is to offer diners innovative cuisine, reasonable prices and a neighborhood atmosphere for everyone. The Restaurant at La Nacional is the catalyst for significant cultural and community programming that reflects the Society’s 150+ year-old mission. This includes free or low-cost apartments upstairs for artists-in-residence and opening our event space on the parlor floor to community events, cultural pursuits and charitable causes.
Seed Library is the first New York cocktail bar from the world’s most awarded bartender, Mr Lyan. With bars in London, Amsterdam & Washington DC, and three-times winner of World’s Best Bar, the team are renowned for bringing together innovation, warm service and excellence.A sibling to Seed Library London, the space bridges two of the world’s great cocktail capitals whilst creating a distinctly local focus as a Manhattan bar. Created as an escape from the busyness of the city, it’s an intimate and comfortable space with a focus on design, music and service that has a warm and welcoming feel. The core concept is to create offerings that are both accessible and deeply considered—a home away from home to create a space to gather over stripped-back yet inventive, natural cocktails, small plates, wines, and beers, alongside some global Lyan classics.
Inspired by the alluring nature of the late 1970’s New York, Lady Blue is an ode to a remarkable decade of transformation. An oft-forgotten character from the Broadway classic, Torch Song Trilogy by Harvey Fierstein, Lady Blue’s combination of seduction and grace narrates the main protagonist’s transitional phases, symbolically encapsulating both the wonders and challenges of life in that era. The ambiance and aesthetic of Lady Blue aim to invoke the nostalgia of a quintessential time period for the Broadway community and our darling city.
