Led by owner Emrah Kilicoglu, Kitchen Istanbul is run by a close-knit team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests. Chef Busra Ayvaz leads the with kitchen. Her deep knowledge of Turkey’s culinary history and passion for seasonal ingredients is reflected in her menu's classic-meets-contemporary approach. Our wine program, curated by Joseph DiGrigoli, reflects a producer-first philosophy and a focus on thoughtful farming and vinification. Lokma, which means “a bite” in Turkish, opened in February 2018 in the Outer Richmond. We proudly serve fresh Californian and Turkish-inspired dishes, offering our guests a comforting blend of flavors and warm hospitality in our bright, inviting space.We allow a 15-minute grace period for reservations, and we kindly ask that you give us a call if you’re running a little late. After 15 minutes, reservations may be marked as no-shows.Because we experience a high number of no-shows and last-minute cancellations, parties of 5 or more are subject to a 24-hour cancellation window. A credit card is required through OpenTable, and a $15 per-person fee will apply for no-shows or late cancellations.Our outdoor dining area is cozy and fully heated, and we’re happy to provide blankets upon request to make your experience even more comfortable.

And if you prefer to eat at home, then we make meals available for home delivery, as well as offering catering services for larger private events.We have two restaurants serving the Bay Area.
