Part wine bar, part restaurant, a city centre venue with a city centre buzz. St. Vincent is an after-work drinks spot, supper-with-friends place and general 'snack-with-a-glass-or-two' hang out with a big-hearted 'everybody welcome' attitude. Inspired by the neighbourhood bars we've found on our travels through France and Italy, we offer interesting wines, charcuterie and crowd pleasing plates full of punchy flavours. Kiln is a small restaurant in the heart of the Ouseburn. We make everything from scratch ourselves to ensure freshness and quality in everything we do.We serve Breakfast every morning from 10am to 2pm, and our Lunch Menu runs between 12pm and 4pm.Our Mediterranean & Middle Eastern inspired tapas style menu is served from 4pm to 9:30pm.Our great coffee, homemade cakes and cocktails are served all day - and we’re dog friendly!Please inform the staff of any allergies when booking & due to the nature of our menu please note we cannot accommodate anyone with a sesame allergy.Thank you!

Blacks Corner at the Tram Shelter is our British food and wine bar by the sea, set within Seaburn’s restored seafront gardens, whose planting and original character were recreated using historic photographs.The Grade II listed Tram Shelter was sensitively brought back to life with support from the Coastal Communities Fund, preserving its original ironwork, timber and fish-scale roof. The restoration received a Northern Design Award in 2023.Our all-day menu follows the changing pace of the coast: coffee and breakfast in the morning, brunch and seasonal dishes through the day, followed by plates and wine into the evening. Working closely with local fisheries and farms, we celebrate fresh British produce including scallops, crab, prawns & oysters, accompanied by artisan cheeses and British sparkling wine.From a quiet morning overlooking the gardens to an evening of food and wine, The Tram Shelter is a relaxed place to experience the produce, heritage & rhythm of the British coast.

    We visited Blacks Corner at Culture House for the first time yesterday afternoon, and my friend and I had a wonderful experience. Everything was fantastic, from the food and atmosphere to the excellent service. A special mention to Lucy, Emery, Nelson and Claudia, who were all lovely and made our visit even more enjoyable. We couldn’t fault a thing and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

    Really lovely morning brunch for my mams birthday, had been for a Saturday brunch with my partner and loved it so decided to take my family. Can not recommend the Boldon rarebit enough, it is delicious with a side order of crispy pancetta, what's not to like. Friendly atmosphere, attentive pleasant staff and beautiful food. Will be back very soon.
