Contrario was voor ons dé culinaire ontdekking van onze trip naar Rome. Het restaurant ligt vlak bij het Colosseum, maar heeft niets van de toeristenvallen die je in die buurt soms tegenkomt – hier eet je gewoon écht goed.
De kaart brengt Italiaanse klassiekers met een twist: herkenbare gerechten, maar telkens met een originele toets in de bereiding of presentatie. Alles was vers, mooi op smaak en met zorg gedresseerd.
