A friendly gathering spot named after my grandfather, pepper martin. He loved socializing with friends and family over smoked fish and his own brew. We serve a collection of Maine favorites! Flavorsome, generously portioned food. Natively sourced, and always fresh. Seafood is our specialty. It was pepper's favorite too!

In season, our highly rated restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily. Breakfasts at the Friar are hearty and healthy.     Pepper’s Landing was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Reserved for 6:15 but got there at 6:00. Seated immediately at a table overlooking the waterfront. Gabe, our fabulous server was friendly, attentive & efficient. Orono Tubular IPA was the best IPA I’ve tasted in years. The Lobster Stew was to die for. I used the delicious yeast roll to clean the bowl. My spouse ordered Fisherman’s Feast: breaded Calamari & breaded shrimp with a side of sweet potato fries & was overwhelmed. The leftover take home box must have weighed 5 pounds! I wish we lived in Old Town so we could eat at Pepper’s Landing every day!
