Our first time dining here and my husband and I loved it! Every dish was phenomenal, we especially enjoyed the redfish special. Our waitress Madi was awesome and a great bartender. We will definitely make The Nest a staple on our future SSI trips!

What a genuine treat. In Brunswick for a month and found 1509 by accident. Our first visit was great. My wife's birthday was coming a few days later and after telling the bar staff we are coming back for her birthday and inquiring about vegan options, Chef Chris came out, introduced himself and said he would gladly prepare a birthday meal w/ all kinds of fresh vegetable goodness from a local farm. We were greeted at the door, sat at the bar and had some awesome cocktails. The chef personally brought out our meals. Her vegan meal was truly amazing. He made a roasted corn puree that formed the bed for an assortment of veggies prepared in a variety of ways- cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, potatoes to name some. We were wowed at how good it was. I had the meatloaf special and for desert a baked chocolate cookie in a crock dish served with caramel sauce, Ghirardelli chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. 1509 staff went out of their way to accommodate. Amazing food and a great bar. We're here for only a couple of weeks and will no doubt add several more visits on top of the two in a week. Many thanks for a wonderful evening.....

The Canopy was a gem we discovered in Darien, GA on our drive from FL to NC, an easy drive off of I95. The restaurant was housed in a historic home with a quaint and cozy feel. The food was outstanding. My husband and I got breakfast dishes which were fresh and flavorful. Our server was sweet, attentive, and so friendly. We felt like guests in a gorgeous home. I would highly recommend this place! It will be our go-to stop when we drive to NC, again.
