It is a place where people can meet up and savour the Cuisine & Wine as they enjoy figurative arts, poetry, cultural gatherings and a host of other activities dedicated to Venice.…in 1999, the Bistrot de Venise took its concept of blending culture, food and wine from the Veneto region a step further when it began to carry out research into Rare Wines and Historical Venetian Cuisine. …We are still steadfastly continuing along this path today…Last order at lunch 14.30, at dinner 22.30

Super bediening. Wij zaten binnen, rustig en een gezellig kader. Het eten is lekker alhoewel ik de carpaccio al beter heb gegeten. De filet pur was uitzonderlijk lekker. Heel mooie wijnkaart maar alle flessen zijn belachelijk duur.

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. De zeevruchten waren vers, smaakvol en perfect bereid. De sfeer was gezellig, de bediening was vriendelijk en attent, en alles werd mooi gepresenteerd. Een geweldige ervaring! We komen zeker nog eens terug. Absoluut een aanrader voor iedereen die van lekkere vis en zeevruchten houdt!

On May 13, 1931, Giuseppe Cipriani opened Harry's Bar in Venice. Over the years, Harry's Bar has become the place where writers, painters, artists, aristocrats, kings, and queens would meet. Among them were: Barbara Hutton, Katherine Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Giancarlo Menotti, Peggy Guggenheim, Orson Welles, Frank Lloyd Wright, Joe DiMaggio, Truman Capote, and Ernest Hemingway. The keys to the success of this small bar were: service, freedom, and lack of imposition.Throughout its 93-year history, Harry's Bar has witnessed the 20th century in Venice. Its importance was also recognized by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, which declared it a national reference point in 2001. No other public place in Italy had received the same award in the same century.

Hostaria OsottoOsopra was born from a fortuitous meeting, between the streets of Venice.With a coffee and a chat, the dream of opening a restaurant with friends seemed to really take shape for the first time.In August 2017, those that were initially only ideas are transformed into reality, within the walls of a former pub in Calle San Pantalon, a stone's throw from Campo Santa Margherita.It would not make sense to open yet another tourist place in Venice, only to then get confused among the many restaurants around the city.No, Hostaria OsottoOsopra was supposed to be something different. It had to be a place to feel at home, where eating well in Venice became possible at a reasonable price and where the service, always in the hand but always elegant, made me want to come back.At the opening, Hosteria OsottoOsopra looked like this: with the atmosphere of a typical Venetian hostaria, but from the almost gourmet kitchen.
