Nestled in the heart of Houston’s West University neighborhood at 6119 Edloe Street, Maximo is a progressive Mexican restaurant from the Local Foods Group team that combines authenticity and adventure. Nearly everything is done in house under Executive Chef Adrian Torres with mentorship from Local Foods Group Creative & Culinary Director Seth Siegel-Gardner. Nixtamalized tortillas are just the start; corn kernels are boiled, soaked and ground into masa, imparting maximum flavor into a dedicated masa section on the menu featuring sopes, tetelas and even cornbread, along with a list of ever-changing taco options. Shareable plates, from crudos and salads to entrees and desserts, entice guests to explore. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Friday from 4 - 9 p.m. for dinner service, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. for brunch and 5 - 9 p.m. for dinner service.

In the heart of Houston’s Montrose neighborhood, MARCH is an intimate Mediterranean restaurant from Chef Felipe Riccio. Serving a course tasting menu, we study the gastronomy, history, and cultures of the region to answer the question:“What is Mediterranean cuisine?”After many years of personal and professional exploration of the Mediterranean, Felipe has brought this spirit of exploration back to his hometown. The word ‘MARCH’ signifies an area of land on the border between two territories; a frontier between realms. The menu is the team’s love letter to the Mediterranean where we will explore the unique, layered evolution of its many connected cuisines, with beverage pairings/selections artfully curated by partner and Master Sommelier, June Rodil.Chef de Cuisine: Chris DaviesExecutive Pastry Chef: Micaela VictoriaGeneral Manager: Gabriel FontenierWine Director: Anthony SalazarGoodnight Hospitality Partners: Bailey & Peter McCarthy, Felipe Riccio, June Rodil

"One of the Best New Restaurants in Houston."Culture MapROMA, an Italian eatery in Rice Village, is Houston's premier Italian restaurant, known for its homemade traditional pastas, its creative contemporary Italian cuisine, and its fine wine program.ROMA was called one of "Houston's Best New Restaurants" by CultureMap when it first opened in 2019. And Houstonia magazine has called it one of their editors' favorite Italian restaurants in the city.In 2020, ROMA launched what would become one of the city's most successful virtual wine dinner programs, often "hosting" more than 80 guests weekly in their homes as Italian winemakers joined from Italy. That has inspired Shanon Scott to take his wine program to the next level. "Our goal is to make ROMA one of Houston's top wine destinations by the end of 2021," says Shanon.Look out for new and regularly occurring wine tastings, wine dinners, and other wine and food events at ROMA!

Located in Houston's Spring Branch neighborhood, The Blind Goat is a chef-driven modern Vietnamese restaurant led by Christine Ha — the blind chef who won MasterChef Season 3 and earned praise from Gordon Ramsay himself.Christine's story lives in every dish. Her Caramelized Salmon recreates the clay pot catfish that earned her a white apron. Her Rubbish Apple Pie — praised by Ramsay on TV — gets a Vietnamese twist with star anise, ginger, and lemongrass. The space is warm, coastal, and unpretentious — rope accents, rustic textures, and a neighborhood energy worth crossing town for. Happy hour runs all day Monday, with daily specials Tuesday through Thursday.Private dining, buyouts, and catering available. The Blind Goat delivers an elevated experience without the attitude.
