We are a new restaurant located within Medici in Providence, RI. Although we are new, Chef David Ashworth has been cooking his dishes in the state of RI for over 30 years. Come enjoy the comfortable dining area where you can both dine and lounge in our beautifully designed space that makes you feel you are far from home. Enjoy your favorite Italian dish with us whether it be our hammer flattened chicken parmesan served with our housemade red or pink sauce or enjoy our focaccia pizza flight where you can choose 3 different personal pizzas. Chef Luciano Canova was born in 1949, on a small farm just outside of Rome, Italy. Chef Luciano grew up with his parents & grandparents where good food, using the freshest of ingredients, was always a staple. His passion for food was instilled in him as a small child in his home and led him to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of Italy. After graduating, Luciano worked all around the world perfecting his craft in places like Switzerland, Germany, and on a luxury cruise line.  The Torre Restaurant Group family of restaurants has grown to serve customers throughout Southern New England with authentic Italian food. We have eight locations, all offering different ways to explore the many tastes of Italy! Our newest location here in Mansfield, is the first location that merges all our dining concepts into one. We look forward to serving and welcoming Torre Restaurant Group to the Mansfield Community.

“I wanted to do a place with good Italian comfort food. The simplicity of it, the freshness of it, the quality of ingredients that you get to work with.” They specialize in that quintessential Italian comfort food – pizza. “I think it’s great that the city of Boston is turning around and starting to become known for pizza like the other big cities in the country,” he said. “It is such a simple food but it all comes down to the quality of ingredients.” It’s all done out of an open kitchen where the star of the show is Molinari’s wood burning oven.

    We were seated promptly. Background music was a little loud, we asked to have it turned down a smidge so it would be easier to converse with a friend we hadn’t seen in a while. We had shared appetizers. Friend said calamari was the best he’s had. Burratta was very good with generous portion. I had the most delicious and tender veal, mashed potatoes were soft, creamy and hot. Steak was great, plenty to take home. We’lll be back!
