We were a family party of 8 celebrating a retirement at the Guilded Lily on Friday 6th November 26. Everything from start to finish was lovely, we booked online which was very easy to do, the staff were very pleasant, friendly & welcoming, all our food was great too, each & everyone of us enjoyed our chosen meals which included steaks, chicken, pizza, sausage, salads, garlic & tomato breads & peppercorn sauce. The table was large & the chairs were comfortable, we had a great night & will definitely return.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Cocktails and food were excellent. My slightly lower marking for service was only because they had a large conference going on and staff were stretched. Nonetheless, once we did order we didn’t have to wait very long for our food to arrive and it was cooked to perfection.

Another enjoyable visit to the Fat Badger . The food was exemplary as always and the staff are a credit to the organisation . We also booked into the hotel for a 1 night stay as we were going to the theatre and my wife and I really enjoy the cleanliness and comfort . We are already planning our next visit to the Hotel and Fat Badger .
