The late Rocco Diorio was responsible for the fine traditional food and many lasting memories for most of the people in the greater Waterbury area. The restaurant was closed in 1980 and reopened in 1991 after total restoration to its original splendor. The legend continues as we remain true to those endearing memories. We have the original marble bar, over-sized mahogany bankers booths, tin ceiling, and the most impressive acid-etched mirrors displaying historical Waterbury.     Went out with few friends for dinner and we all had a wonderful time, a chance to catch up and have a very good meal, with choices from the menu and the specials of the day. The service was a prompt and attentive from our waiter. The meals came out a bit too quickly as we hadn’t finished the appetizers/salads. The entrees were very good and all were happy with our selections. Deserts were very good and then we had more time to finish our conversations Ambiance is special with an old bar and booths for eating. We always enjoy our nights at Diorio’s and will be returning in the near future.

    Been to Siena before. We were there for brunch this time. They have a very varied menu for brunch.I had the blackened chicken sandwich. It was delicious. My family had the burger, avocado toast, etc. Everyone enjoyed the food. Also, the ambience is really nice. We sat at a window table which looks out over a river and falls. There was a bridal shower going on in the back. But it did not disturb us.
