A really fantastic experience for my dad's 80th Birthday lovely little touches like a card from the team. They didn't mind us bringing a few decorations that we tidied up afterwards and singing happy birthday to him too. We could make use of the lovely grounds for a wonder and pre-dinner drinks. It is expensive but the cost reflects what you get - deliciously locally sourced food served with exception attention to detail and a real bespoke experience, just ideal for the members of the group who are a bit older and need to have that time. We also had children in our party and whilst the place is not geared up for children specifically we took things for them to do and there was games on the lawn and books and games inside for them to read/use which was also appreciated.

The food was amazing, lovely service. Very quiet and pleasant atmosphere.

Lunch was perfect (although not keen on the very bitter coffee). The surroundings absolutely fabulous. Sarah, our Waitress, was amazing, friendly, polite and very attentive ... In all my restaurant visits spanning 55 years, I cannot ever recall having such a lovely person look after me when dining out. Sarah is an absolute credit to the Ellenborough team and should be highly commended.

I visited this hotel with a friend on a Wednesday evening and I can honestly say everything was exceptional! The staff were very attentive, they were pleasant, polite and helpful. The food was presented very nicely and was delicious. The wine was good. The atmosphere was perfect as was the scenery outside. I would definitely visit again!
