Excellent and attentive service and wonderfully prepared food and drinks. The scallops particularly were great. A cosy bolt hole on a stormy autumn night. We’ll have to come back .

Absolutely fantastic - our favourite pub for a reason. Pub food but elevated to a fantastic level with locally-sourced quality seasonal ingredients. Service always brilliant.

Overall excellent value. Food exactly as described and excellent. Good selection of wine but pricey. Staff very attentive and professional. Would and have recommended this restaurant to others.

Welcoming and friendly staff, excellent menu choice, we had the ribs and chicken Kiev, great potions and value. It was very busy for a Monday, glad we booked. Lovely atmosphere and warm feel. Staff attentive, asking if need another drink etc would highly recommend

This is a lovely pub/restaurant with a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The publican and his staff are very welcoming, the food is excellent and the choice of drinks is wide. We will come again.
