“A stones throw away from Dalston Kingsland Station you will find The Dalston Jazz Bar. It’s a full on restaurant up until 10 PM. They serve an array of fresh seafood as well as yummy beer from a local brewery and cocktails. The live band plays throughout the night with a few breaks. On Fridays and Saturdays, after 10 PM, they clear all tables and chairs to create a dance floor and this place then really starts to rock! We don't do vegan or vegetarian food. Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. The menu is Modern European with a specials menu that changes regularly and plenty of choice on the drinks and cocktail menu.

    Service at George IV was excellent, from being greeted to wait staff. Food was very good indeed, innovative, beautifully presented & well cooked. We went for lunch. Chin beef with mash (best mash I’ve had in a long time), curly kale (unusual & interesting dressing) & carrot which was lovely & buttery, companion had Hake cassoulet which was also excellent. The interiors were well kept although perhaps a little spartan. I’d definitely recommend.

    Absolutely outstanding meal from start to finish! The food was delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavour. The service was excellent, and the whole experience made for a wonderful visit. Everything was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

    The food at Ember is outstanding. The menu changes all the time. The quality is really good. Sam our waitress was really amazing. Attentive but not intrusive. The music was great - but a little loud. We had a great evening. Would come back again.
