Set in the centre of the main street of the historic market town of Clitheroe, the Swan and Royal in a former coaching inn dating back to the 1830s.In its earlier years as a hostelry, it boasts guests both famous and some say infamous, in the local area and throughout the country. You can stay in rooms named after a selection of the most interesting of these people.
After the fire, the Swan and Royal has undergone a major refurbishment, keeping its original character and still making it a warm and friendly place to eat and drink.
During the day it is the ideal place to rest tired legs after walking round the market or the wide range of individual shops Clitheroe has to offer. At night it is a little more lively – being the centre of town makes it the centre of socialising!
Matt & Phred's is a Live Music venue located in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter, with gigs Monday-Saturday until late. On weeknights, you can expect to kick back and enjoy the finest jazz, blues, and soul (live 8-11pm). On Fridays and Saturdays, you can expect to party to the best disco, pop, funk, soul, brass, and everything in between (live 9:30pm-12:30am).Your booked table will be yours for the entire evening, we just ask you to select an arrival time and stick to it. There is a 15 minute grace period. If you cancel within 24 hours or don't turn up, you will be charged £10 per person.
