Captain Kidd Restaurant and Bar is an upscale and welcoming establishment that specializes in fresh seafood and American inspired dishes. As a landmark in the Woods Hole community for 100+ years, we relish in the tales of a tavern from our past, while adding a more modern take on dining. The interior is expansive and warmly decorated, offering guests unobstructed views of the water. Our outdoor seating consists of a lovely shaded patio, and two piers that jut out over Eel Pond. Captain Kidd Restaurant is good for families, groups and special occasions. Whet your appetite with a starter and get a cup of Chef Frank Belfiore's famous New England clam chowder, or our hand-breaded chicken tenders! Feel like sharing? The steamed mussels finished in a Posillipo sauce and the fried calamari are an absolute must. For the main course, go with the marinated hanger steak, classic fish & chips, pan seared halibut, or grilled swordfish. Another Captain Kidd specialty includes our Lobster Roll!

From an intimate dining room with an intriguing menu of savory local dishes to the sun-dappled Conservatory and dining al fresco in The Garden, the dining scene at The Vanderbilt is crackling with alluring eccentricities just waiting to be explored.Important Notes: Reservations are held for 15 minutes beyond the scheduled arrival time, and during peak service hours you may not be seated until your entire party has arrived. Once your party is assembled, we will offer you the next available table for a party of your size. We only reserve about 50% of our tables online and have 20 bar seats, so most of our seating is saved for walk-in guests.We’ve traded our larger space for a smaller, and more intimate, newly built 53-seat restaurant and bar, creating an even better place to enjoy the authentic Vineyard experience.Home to our award-winning chowder, often called the best in New England, we serve fresh local seafood when available, lobster favorites, steaks, all-natural chicken, and craft cocktails.If your party will be more than 5 minutes late please text 508-696-3000. Fantastisch lekker eten. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Alleen... naar Europese normen veel te lawaaierig, maar dat is een algemeen verschijnsel in Amerikaanse restaurants. Gelukkig hier geen abnormaal koude airco. Een bijzondere attentie voor Briana, die haar job perfect uitvoerde.

    Everything was delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable and allowed me to make a couple substitutions for my diet considerations. There is a small up charge but worth it to have the perfect meal.

    The Landfall is an amazing place to enjoy lunch or dinner! Picturesque water views, charming decor and ambience and a great menu with many choices, everything is always delicious! Have been visiting The Landfall for over 50 years and it never disappoints! The staff is terrific and we look forward to every visit!

    Excellent clam chowder. All of 4 of us had the swordfish sandwich which incredible. We definitely go back again. Our server was outstanding.
