Dukes 92 was originally a stable block for the horses delivering foods off barges to the Merchants warehouse opposite. From these humble begininngs the building now houses Manchester's original bar and grill which has been refurbished and extended three times since its opening in 1991 the space today is informal and airy with the buildings heritage being reflected in a subtle blend of antique furniture and modern fixed seating.With its most recent refurbishment Dukes can now properly call itself a venue with two bars, three private events spaces, a grill restaurant, excellent smoking facilities, canalside terrace and balcony overlooking the canal basin. Dukes continued appeal relies on its ability to transform from a relaxed, family friendly environment by day to a vibrant and stylish bar and grill by night.The space has been extended and refurbished since its opening in 1991 and inside its interior combines contemporary features and its trademark antique furniture.

    Wonderful girls on Ivy Roof garden. Very welcoming. Restaurant feels very plush. My meal was lovely, steak tartare. Unfortunately my husbands steak was clearly undercooked and the server recognised this and deleted from the bill without prompting. Didn’t detract from a lovely evening.

    The cocktails were fantastic and were enjoyed in a cool New York style environment. The staff had great information on the menu and clearly pride themselves in the customer experience. Spent 4 hours sat at the bar with a friend loosing track of time. Brilliant evening. Look forward to returning.

    Great food. Had chicken gyozas, spring rolls, and chicken bites. Mains were the ramen and pork belly, rice and cabbage. Drinks were the iced ube leche boba tea drinks (I had 2) service was very good- nice and quick. Helped us celebrate our 8th Wedding Anniversary. We’ll be back very soon

    Lovely welcome - attentive staff and a nice clean bright atmosphere. Now the best thing was the Absolutely incredible food - I had the Vegetarian Breakfast (despite not being a veggie!) it was blooming wonderful - FODMAP friendly (no onion in hashbrowns which was fantastic!) it was so tasty I will 100% be back! We also had the ceaser salad and breakfast bun - everything was excellent
