Located next door to the PEI National Park, and fronting on one of PEI’s most stunning beaches, FiN Folk Food is a coastal kitchen and gathering place at the heart of Blackbush Beach Resort. Built on the ashes of the Grand Tracadie Fish Factory, this casual beachside eatery brings together fresh seafood, local ingredients, and folk-inspired comfort food—served up with a view of the Grand Dunes across Tracadie Bay.More than a restaurant, FiN Folk Food is a destination. All dining areas, inside and out, offer breathtaking views and can comfortably accommodate large, small and intimate gatherings. FiN is where PEI’s coastal spirit comes to the table. The menu changes with the seasons, inspired by what’s caught, grown, or crafted close to home. Behind the scenes, FiN fosters a workplace where kindness is key—and it shows in every guest experience. Our mantra is “Be nice!” and our unspoken goal is to be the best at what we do, casual food with fun attached.

Donald McIsaac erected this beautiful three storey brick building in 1862-1864 on Sims Corner, so called because the property had been in the possession of Thomas and Charlotte Alchorn Sims from 1806. The most colourful owner and occupant of the building was Mr. P.P. Gillis, who ran the “Red Pharmacy” between 1895 and 1910. A drug-store in the front half of the building and a reputed conviviality shop in the rear, proved very popular with local businessmen while prohibition was in effect. This location has also been a large family home, apartments and a barber shop. In the fall of 2005 local restaurateur Murphy's purchased the building and began the process of renovating to create what you are experiencing today. Murphy Hospitality Group is proud to present you with Prince Edward Island’s first authentic Steakhouse, and “Atlantic Canada’s Premier Steakhouse Experience”.

Really nice restaurant! It’s hard to find chateaubriand in a restaurant, and this one was amazing!!! Our server Frances was fantastic and took good care of us! We really enjoyed the cocktails, as well as the sticky date pudding for dessert! We went for my husband’s birthday and it was very enjoyable! Highly recommend!

Great facility, service was fantastic considering it was Canadian Thanksgiving and our server was covering the whole facility. The food quality was excellent, with many offerings included fresh seafood and gave us a wide choice menu. The wine list was superior, many fine choices at average prices. The dining area was very open and comfortable, we got to choice our own table. Overall this was a wonderful choice for an optional "Canadian Thanksgiving" brunch (1pm).
