The concept behind the design and feel of Burgundy Lion is to blend a traditional British pub with a modern lounge bar and to offer a unique twist on British pub cuisine. Burgundy Lion is located in Little Burgundy, an old working class neighborhood in Montreal, steeped in history. Since the early 90"s, Little Burgundy has enjoyed a re-birth as young professionals are taking advantage of its renewed sense of community.     Pitch perfect. The decor and ambiance really set the tone. The staff was knowledgeable, responsive and fun. The food was delicious and very generous, and we also found some great bottles on the wine list. 10/10 can recommend

    Really fun atmosphere. Love the food. Servers couldn't be nicer. We actually accidentally booked a table for 2 but needed for 4 and they were so accommodating. Thank goodness cuz otherwise would've missed out on amazing meal. Adore the visual aesthetic. The fun sister restaurant of Joe Beef Is well worth it.

    Amazing service! We went for the steak frites and were very happy. The Bavette was cooked as requested (seared and saignant).The waitress (possibly sommelier) knew her dishes and wines. desert was very good as well. They could have a few more wines but the choice was sufficient. A Languedoc (cyrah, grenache, mourvedre) would have been puuurfect for the meal.
