Specialising in Austrian and German cuisines, Maggie’s Potts Point brings a slice of Europe to Sydney. Not your typical Austrian and German restaurant, Maggie’s is casual, relaxed and more like a cafe than a beerhall – which we love. Open from frühstuck (breakfast), right through until abendessen (dinner), you’ll find a wide selection of dishes you’re guaranteed to love. We recommend starting with duck terrine with cranberry sauce; smoked trout salad and deep-fried camembert, before a main of Wiener schnitzel served with cabbage salad and Maggie’s signature rosti; goulash cooked in a spicy paprika sauce with homemade spätzle (flour dumplings) or beef medallions smothered in pepper sauce. Share some plates and have some fun.We don't like to play favourites but you should DEFINITELY try the Hazelnut Muhammara (blitzed red pepper dip topped with a sprinkling of pomegranate, roast hazelnuts, coffee grinds and native honey). Pair it with one of our Jerusalem Bagels (baked like a baby sourdough [rather than boiled] and brushed with pomegranate molasses before it gets popped in the oven). The pumping soundtrack will take you on many journeys but at its heart-and-soul it's really all about your favourite 90s-sing-along-pop-power-ballads 🎶We're just around the corner from the Coke Sign and 2 mins from Kings Cross Station.

    This was one of, if not, the best dinner experience we’ve had in Sydney. We spent our anniversary here and the staff went above and beyond to make it a special experience. The food was amazing, the wine was superb and the staff took care of everything. Thank you!

    The Apollo is the best Greek food in Sydney. The starters, our mains, and dessert were outstanding and our waitress, Sofia, was excellent. Highly recommend if you love authentic Greek cuisine. We will definitely be back!

    An excellent selection of what you could expect in a family run restaurant in parts of Europe. Large serve sizes provide excellent value. Not a place for date night, more for wholesome food over a couple of drinks with family of friends. Well loved over the decades by locals and visitors.
