My friend and I had wonderful dinner last night at Granita Enoteca. The food and service were exemplary. We chatted with the chef for a longtime and went outside to see our steak cooked on their Japanese cooker. It is remarkable to find such a high quality restaurant in a modest New England city. We will go back!

Had a reservation and we were seated right away. Was a little noisy but not so you couldn’t talk with my wife. Had the ranch dip for appetizers dip was good and the veggies fresh chips were salty and a little spicy which I liked. My wife had the salmon bowl which she loved and I had fish and chips which was a nice piece of fish and shoestring fries which are my favorite. I opted for the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce which was sooo good Our waitress was very friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. Bill came to about $100 including a mixed drink and a beer. We will be back

Saffron is a unique experience, as it's co-located in the 1939-vintage Royal Diner. Saffron gets (presumably) cheap rent, while the Royal makes extra income because it's only open for breakfast and lunch. That means you're eating Middle Eastern food in a very old school American setting - it's quirky, but it works. When we arrived at 7:15pm, they were digging out of a very full early dinner service, so service was a little slow to start, but picked up speed as they caught up. Our server was on top of everything and friendly. The food was genuinely exceptional - everything we had was both cooked and presented beautifully. I had wanted to order the beef kebab, but the early service had cleaned them out. I "settled" for the chicken kebab, and that's in quotes because in no way shape or form did it end up being a second place meal. It was outstanding - easily the best chicken kebab I have ever had. Highly recommended!

The ramen was delicious, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was just as impressive—warm, inviting, and relaxing, making it a great place to enjoy a meal and unwind. Everything came together for a wonderful dining experience. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and would happily visit again!
