Brilliant! we were recommended by our son, and we were not disappointed. We were made welcome right from the start and nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous menu, with the shepherds pie an outstanding winner. I was fascinated watching all the staff with their distinctive clothing showing what their duties are. The girl who brought the food from the kitchen was amazing carrying a huge tray on her shoulder, right down to the bar staff creating cock tails, everyone was busy all the time working in a happy, pleasant atmosphere. It was our first anniversary and when the staff found out we were given a lovely chocolate desert with happy anniversary on it. Beautiful decor, lovely staff, heavenly food. Worth every penny. It was pouring down when we left and unfortunately there were no umbrellas left. What a lovely idea though. Well done ,we will be be back when next visiting Nottingham.

Utterly fantastic from start to finish. Zero to complain about. Big shout out to Tom, absolute gentleman, he was the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness whilst looking after our party of 8, nothing was too much trouble for him. Food was sublime. Great ambience. Thoroughly recommend The Two Pigs, can’t wait to return!

First time of visiting & very impressed. Lovely varied menu at reasonable price. Service was excellent although it was a lunchtime visit & not very busy. The quality of the food was also of a high standard. I would definitely recommend & will be back again as soon as possible
