Our aim is to provide exceptional hospitality, service, food and drinks in a casual, fun and intimate atmosphere. Alfred's is a place to come as you are and enjoy everything from a glass of wine & homemade focaccia to a multi-course dinner with family & friends.
The kitchen is led by Head Chef's Ivan Blackwell and Brad Johnston with a focus on Italian inspired cuisine that's designed to be shared. However, we also won't mind if you'd just like to enjoy a bowl of gnocchi all to yourself! The bar is led by founder, John Pierce, who has carefully curated a list of old world wines alongside classic cocktails with a twist.
We are a small and intimate restaurant so large dining tables are limited to 6 people.

Enjoy a three-course a la carte lunch which is reasonably priced and produced with the highest level of passion and care by students with the guidance of their Chef Instructors. If you are interested in a group booking please email culinaryarts@vcc.ca. Chef's Table dinner is a set menu, and courses can not be changed due to guest preferences. We have these specific proteins on the menu to further the student's knowledge in the program.
