First night after renovation and reopening. Excellent experience overall. All of us were very pleased with the food. We will certainly be back.

Ive eaten here a few times with family now on a Sunday for the carvery. It is absolutely delicious and a lovely selection of vegetables. It is always busy and this is a good sign of a fabulous restaurant. Staff are always welcoming and friendly.

This is an outstanding restaurant of superb quality. Great for special occasions. Tom Shepherd and his team serve a tasting menu which consists of high quality ingredients that they seem to have extracted the maximum flavour from. Usually with a tasting menu there are one or two courses that you like a little less - but not here. All courses are, quite simply, excellent. Who knew we would be such big fans of beetroot gazpacho? You really need to taste it for yourself to appreciate how wonderful it is ...and the scallop..and the fish...and everything else really. My partner (designated driver) had the matched non alcoholic pairings and loved them -The mixologist has clearly done an excellent job Also, staff were very helpful and responded to my queries quickly when I was trying to secure a booking in the first place. Excellent customer service all round. If we were local we would definitely come here more often.

Another fabulous dining experience at The Two Pigs! 🐷 🐷 ❤️❤️ The food and drinks were superb throughout. We began with a beautifully light twice-baked cheese soufflé with wholegrain mustard sauce, diced pear and bitter leaves, alongside delicious beer-steamed mussels with toasted sourdough. We also shared Liam’s Cauliflower, named after Chef Liam Dillon, the talented chef behind both The Boat and The Two Pigs. After all, when a Michelin-starred chef puts his own name on a dish, it had better be something special! 😂 Needless to say, it lived up to expectations! For our main courses, we enjoyed Roast Chicken Supreme with butternut squash polenta, black garlic ketchup, and baby leeks, and Shetland whole plaice with smoked bacon, mussel chowder, and samphire. Both were beautifully cooked, wonderfully tender and bursting with flavour. We rounded off the evening with a refreshing lemon posset and a gloriously indulgent sticky toffee pudding. By then, calorie counting had been officially postponed until further notice! 😂🍮 The staff were warm, friendly and efficient throughout. Tom, the manager, was his usual cheerful, attentive self, making sure every detail was taken care of. His personal touch always makes dining here even more enjoyable. Excellent food, lovely drinks, a welcoming atmosphere and outstanding hospitality — everything came together for a truly wonderful dining experience. Another memorable evening at The Two Pigs. We arrived hungry, left very happy, and considerably less able to fasten our trousers! 🥰🥰🍽❤️❤️
