not a great experience - food was ok, drinks were too syrupy, service was really slow and not too friendly and menu was limited. It's such an iconic location and large space but felt really empty. The space was also really cold and the fireplace was under maintenance. The waitress disappeared between taking our orders and bringing out the food.

Food great. Service a little on the slow side. Appeared to be short staffed as only 1 waiter working in our area. Food took a long time to be served but was hot and well prepared when it arrived. Tuna poke bowl and fish and chips excellent but too much salt on chips. Should be omitted and have salt at the table if needed. No pepper offered but not a big deal.

Aside from the location and incredible view of false creek, the food and drinks were sub par and this was made worse by the slow service. Won’t go back.

Location is superb. Experience excellent although we had 3 different wait staff during our visit. Food was excellent although food and beer prices was somewhat high

We had a big group and our servier was able to handle it. They were attentive to our needs. There was a great selection of cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic as well as food. Everyone enjoyed their dinner.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing, especially since we chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. The service throughout the evening was extremely slow and poorly coordinated. We ordered drinks and appetizers, but our drinks arrived about 20 minutes after the appetizers. Later, we ordered wine to have with our dinner, but the wine was not served until we had almost finished our meals. We had also brought our own cake container, which was misplaced by the restaurant. The cake was brought out without it, and when we were ready to leave, we had to wait another 15 minutes while the staff searched for our container. We also ordered a few drinks that we did not enjoy, and when we politely asked whether they could be changed, we were simply told that they could not. What was most disappointing was the response when the staff asked for our feedback about the food. When we explained that we were not satisfied, instead of acknowledging our concerns, we were told that “other customers like it.” That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. For a birthday celebration, we expected much better service, communication, and attention to our table. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations.

Inexperienced waiters, took way too long for coffee to arrive let alone meals. Waiter did not come back after a few bites to see how everything was and anything else we would need. Finally someone came to pick up the plates and asked for bill at that time. Did not ask if there was anything else we would like.

The food and ambience were great. Everyone welcomed us warmly and had a smile, which made us feel comfortable and appreciated. However, our server wasn’t very friendly, and I found his behaviour a bit odd. It almost felt like he didn’t want to serve us, which unfortunately took away from the overall experience.

I would rate this restaurant 3/5. The service was great. I’m not sure why there are so many negative comments about the service, because our server was right on time, checked in with us regularly, and provided great service throughout. The food, on the other hand, was below average. The pizza tasted like something you could get from a regular takeout spot — if not below that standard. The loaded nachos weren’t really “loaded,” and the drink was just okay for the price. The ambience and views, however, are spot on. That was definitely one of the biggest highlights of the restaurant and made the overall experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, we were mainly there for the food, and that part was below average. Great setting and service, but the food needs improvement.
