For one night only, Sergio Germano of Ettore Germano joins us from Serralunga d'Alba, the heart of Barolo country, for his first visit to Vancouver. His family has farmed these hills since 1856. To celebrate, we're pairing six courses of Piemontese cooking with his wines, starting with his Nebbiolo sparkling rosé and building to a single-vineyard Barolo Cerretta. Expect crostino di baccalà, vitello tonnato, tajarin with truffle and bistecca al Barolo, and to finish, a Torino Dopo Cena.

As usual, the food and drinks at Bar Corso were excellent. I am slightly disappointed that despite marking the special occasion as a birthday, there was no offering of a birthday dessert for my friend. The hostess did ask whose birthday it was when seating me, so there was an awareness. Would have been great to make my friend feel special. Otherwise, great.

For drinks and food highly recommended. Wide selection of options and staff is knowledgeable. If you crave Italian or a wide selection of Amaro then this is the spot!

This was our first visit to Bar Corso, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Enjoying a delicious dinner with friends, we were new to Italian cuisine, but the waitress kindly explained everything in detail. The food and drinks were fantastic, perfectly seasoned—not greasy, overly salty, or too sweet. We can't wait to return and explore more amazing dishes!

First visit. Cool vibes. Liked the crostini options at happy hour. The carbonara however was a major let down, way too much black pepper. Service was friendly and relaxed

We had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our time! Everything was great. My only suggestion is regarding the cake. I understand restaurants charge a cake service fee, but I wish we had the option to cut and serve our own cake. Other than that, everything was excellent!

Have been here several times and always enjoyed. Was a bit disappointed this visit. Inattentive service, items forgotten completely, drinks slow so ended ip skipping the cocktail I ordered, server switched mid meal (i guess it was end of shift as a lot of the staff started drinking at the table next to us), took forever to get our bill and then forever to pay. Food was good, the smoked tomato dish and lettuce dish were excellent. Hoping it was just an off night and not part of trend as i really have had great experiences here in the past.

A average first impression when entering the restaurant. More casual than thought it would be. Server was excellent. Most restaurants ask if the occasion was a celebratory one which it was. Minimal interest is customers we felt. Server did comp a small liquor shot when he was advised of our celebration. Food was good. One dish a little coolish but not bad enough to send back and interrupt dinner. No need to return when there is competition in the area.
