Our food comes straight from the recipe book of Mama Hazel and her Georgia influence. We have created a food & drink program meant to wow but not break the bank. Simple but elegant. By far, the best soul food I have ever had! Our waiter was so kind and helpful. I have already recommended this place to others and plan to go back very soon.

Not much of a looker from the outside but OMG inside is a GEM. From the food to the ambiance to the service. Definitely recommend!

This restaurant is really nice with casual vibes. The food is really good, the service was also amazing! The waiters, servers and bussers were all very polite and very friendly!

Celebrated my two sons birthday. Allowed us to sit early before our 5pm reservation time. Thanks for letting us leave our left overs and cake until we returned from the Hamilton performance. So sorry, do not recall our waiter's name. We will be back. This time to enjoy the jazz in the back room as well! Thank you, Felicia Byrd

The food was all very tasty-shared by 5 of us: shrimp, catfish,alligator,brisket sandwich,brussel sprouts,collard greens. When we were served I noticed the greens were a smaller size and not enough to share and so ordered another one-the server nodded. I was so embarrassed when it never arrived as I had a portion thinking more was on the way. We had one menu for the 5 of us until we were about to order. Noise level made talking difficult. Would definitely return for the delicious food!

We certainly appreciated the location and food at Hazel's. We thought we'd beat the crowd with a 5pm reservation, but the restaurant filled up quickly. Between the music and the people, we found it very difficult to talk with one another without yelling across the table. However, the lemon pepper chicken wings and ribs certainly made up for it - super delicious!

Absolutely delicious. We had a party of 9 (on a Monday), and our server was attentive and friendly. My only---very minor--issue was that they ran out of the gator bites, so we didn't get to try them. But I can understand they may have a limited supply. Overall very very good. We will be back for sure.
