This was my fourth time at hooked. Each time my wife and I have the whole fish experience. It is among the most wonderful culinary experiences you could ever have. It is absolutely not to be missed.

We had eaten here several years ago and remembered the food being outstanding, so we were excited to return. Unfortunately, this visit felt disorganized from the start. Our waitress seemed confused and had to confirm our nigiri order several times. The whole fish experience was explained well, but the pricing was shocking at around $150 per pound. We wisely decided to start with an appetizer and see how things went. The “fried oysters” turned out to be one oyster cut into six pieces for $28. It was heavily breaded and not good. After that, we decided to leave. Overall, very discombobulated, extremely overpriced, and disappointing. We would not return.

We have loved going to Hooked each time we are in Beavercreek. This time was a huge disappointment. The waitress was so pushy about doing the whole fish experience that she didn't even give us a chance to look at the menu or order a drink. It was very off putting. The drink and food was average at best and over priced for the quality of food we received. Like I said, we have loved our experience in the past, but Hooked with now be a pass for us.

Hooked BC is the bomb when it comes to Sushi. You will not find a better quality sushi experience anywhere and this place could not be more landlocked and away from the water if they tried. Its not cheap, but its well worth it.

This was an amazing evening. The whole fish experience is a meal my family will remember for a long time - we can't stop talking about it. Some of the reviews complain about the price and it's not cheap but think of it as a chef's tasting using one protein multiple ways. It was just outstanding. The craft cocktails were also really great - the maitai and margarita martini were standouts (the story of how the margarita ingredients are prepared will blow your mind). Highly recommend.
