Marché is situated in the quaint town of Ross in the heart of beautiful Marin County. We are named for the farmer's markets of southern France where chefs and restauranteurs visit seeking inspiration and ingredients for the meals they will serve each day. We are a French/Italian inspired, California contemporary farm-to-fork restaurant and feature produce, meat and seafood from local purveyors to help us create our delicious seasonal dishes. We have a diverse wine and beer selection sourced from local and international small production wineries to accompany your meal.

Dining is available inside the cozy dining room and on our charming open-air patio.

I have been to this restaurant 3 or 4 times - this experience fell short - seated right away, but waited for water and drink order’s for 10 min! Big fail - the patio was not even full - food was good, drinks, when they eventually came were good - removing used plates took too long - and our waiter never told us the special - we eventually heard it announced next to us after we ordered. I am not hard to please (and I have experience waiting tables from long ago). Getting water and drinks to a table as soon as possible is so important and easy.

Excellent culinary experience. The Mary's chicken a delicacy to the palate. Good service and attention from the hostess. We feel the French vibe because of the background music

We finally had their chicken special. Worth the wait. This is an under the radar restaurant that should have more patrons.

Everything was outstanding, something we've come to expect from Marche. We've been going for over a decade and through 3 owners. We intend to keep going!

We arrived at 6:30 on "Fried Chicken Night" and came for the fried chicken. They opened at 5:30 and were out of fried chicken. We were one of only 3 other tables occupied that night. Our server explained that much of the fried chicken went out to to-go orders and that they always run out. I understand portion controls and that restaurants have budgets but, really?!

We celebrated our 53rd anniversary and truly enjoyed a wonderful meal. My wife and I shared the burrata cheese over a toasted sour dough toast with sliced peaches on top. It was supremely delicious. I made the reservation because of their Tuesday dinner special .. fried chicken and honey topped cornbread. She so enjoyed it. I enjoyed the delicious duck cassoulet with fava beans and a piece of pork sausage. Totally delicious. The restaurant served us a complimentary chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The service was excellent and the staff checked on us during our meal several times. Eating in their garden area was a perfect setting for our most delicious anniversary dinner.

There were bags of dirty linens lined up outside the front entrance 5 feet away from the outdoor patio. Some of them had a horrible old fish smell. They were eventually removed after I got the attention of the manager. The appetizer was a Burrata nectarine toast. Someone topped it with way too much cracked pepper. I’m not sure why you would put any cracked pepper on this dish but they could have asked if you wanted pepper. My Halibut and farrow entree was drenched in butter. It was literally pooled on the plate. I ate the fish and left the rest. The manager asked why I didn’t eat the entree and I pointed out the amount of butter. She agreed that it looked excessive but did not offer to remove it from the bill. Instead she removed a dessert which was a scoop of sorbet. We left the sorbet uneaten because it was insipidly sweet. I have been to this restaurant many times and it is the first bad meal I have had here. The manager that I am used to seeing is Olivier and he was not working. Maybe that was the root of the problem. Unfortunately I had taken my best friend here for her birthday and we were both disappointed. On the bright side, the outdoor setting is lovely( minus the dirty fish smell). I hope this honest critique is used to upgrade the culinary experience of future guests.

We had a fantastic experience celebrating my partner's birthday at Marche. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was exceptional.
