Went for the burger challenge, the burger was underwhelming. The waffles were soft, lacking sauce and flavour. The service started off slow and then improved.

There were many servers but they appeared very preoccupied with a wedding party that was coming in after us (multiple staff told us about this). At one point, 2 servers were wiping down one small square table… together. We waited over 45 minutes for our first drinks (we ordered 15 minutes after we were seated - with a reservation) and then much much longer for our food. We had a hard time getting waters - having asked the server multiple times and then when asking for refills of water, we never received them. There were multiple servers including what seemed to be the manager and no one could manage to get a water refill to us or a jug placed on the table through our entire meal. There was clear frustration on our side of the restaurant by not only our table, others too. One man appeared to confront the manager after experiencing much of the same issues as us. The struggles were very clear to anyone who cared to pay attention but yet we still never saw the manager help the servers out with waters, beverages or food order/delivery. Our server came over close to 30 mins after we placed our food order to explain that she had just managed to input our food order because “the system was crashing”. When we were served our food, one meal was given to the wrong person but then once discovered, taken from that table and given to the correct person (different table reservation and different party despite us knowing each other). Once it was time for the bills, our server came over and explained that she wouldn’t be charging us the auto gratuity despite the number of guests between our table and the one next to us but asked us to “not be mean to (her)” when tipping. To be honest, she was a less than satisfactory server and the 18% gratuity I did give was generous in my opinion. So many issues at our dinner, we will likely not be back.

The staff are incredible people They truly care about their customers and always make us feel welcome. I would recommend 100% and the patio is lovely.

It was an extremely busy day at Match. Lots of patrons taking in the World Cup games. Server did her very best, but the place was lacking staff. Beer was cold. Many at our table had pizzas which looked cooked, but tasted undercooked. Lots of screens to watch the sporting matches and that was the main reason for our visit. Overall, a decent experience.

I had the 1/2 roast chicken, very good. However the fries were not up to their usual high standard, instead they were rather limp, bland and overall unappealing.

One of our parties were tied up in traffic and we asked for the reservation to be extended by 30 minutes which they did. Nice touch that we can text them when someone is delayed and we arrived on time for the evening with our server and table ready for us!! THANK you
