Diner 3/10/25 This was our worst dinner of the whole trip, dinner was served downstairs, not on the rooftop, on the rooftop there was only dessert at the bar, where they tried to charge us 120€ for coffee, adding cocktails that we didn’t order!

Oro Bistrot has officially toppled one of our long-time favorite dining experiences and now sits proudly at the number one spot. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The service was exactly what you’d hope for, professional, attentive, and seamless without being intrusive. Choosing a tasting menu was the hardest part of the evening, but once we did, each course that followed was a masterpiece: beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and balanced perfectly from start to finish. We opted not to do the wine pairing, but our waiter’s recommendation of a dry Tuscan rosé was spot on and complemented the meal perfectly. To top it all off, the setting is spectacular, dining while overlooking the majestic Vittorio Emanuele monument made the evening even more unforgettable. Oro Bistrot is more than just dinner; it’s an experience, and one we can’t recommend highly enough.

Expérience unique. De plus, si vous n'aimez pas quelque chose vous pouvez toujours le changer en parlant avec le personnel. Nous avons eu aussi notre propre serveuse que parlait notre langue. Rien à redire ! Si l'occasion se représente, on reviendra.

This was the most amazing venue with views to die for. The service team were so friendly and welcoming and the food was outstanding. We had the €155 menu with wine pairing. I couldn’t have the set dessert due to an allergy but they swapped it out immediately for me. The best way to start a vacation!

The restaurant is absolutely amazing with a breathtaking view. The staff is attentive, professional, & knowledgeable of the entire menu. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and requested a specific table, & we got it!!! The food is superb; we had the 5 course tasting menu, each course was better than the next. Unfortunately we could not finish the final course ( we felt so bad, as the chef takes great pride in preparing each dish). I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Rome. Request the front terrace table (evening preferably, you won’t be disappointed).

Visited with my partner on the rooftop for the tasting menu. Amuse-Bouche: A lively start – sharp vinegar awakened the palate, crisp vegetables added freshness, and smooth mayonnaise softened the acidity for a clean, invigorating finish. Octopus in Marinara with Guttiau Bread & Tortilla: Tender, subtly smoky octopus rested in a rich, vibrant marinara sauce. Crisp guttiau bread and charred tortilla brought texture and rustic notes, while creamy mayonnaise tied the flavors together. Pork Agnolotti in Smoky Ham Broth, BBQ Sauce & Onions: Al dente agnolotti held rich pork filling, balanced by smoky ham broth. BBQ sauce added gentle sweetness, while onions shifted from sweet to tangy to lightly bitter, unifying the dish. Black Cod with Baby Gem & Caviar: Flaky, buttery cod carried oceanic depth, balanced by bitter-charred notes. Baby gem added smoky crunch, while caviar brought briny bursts of luxury. Mandarin, Elderberry & Sichuan Pepper: A vibrant interlude – icy semifreddo with mint, explosive citrus, gentle tartness, and tingling pepper warmth. Chantilly cream smoothed it out, though sticky meringue distracted slightly. Dark Chocolate Two Ways, Caramel & Wild Berries: Ganache and chocolate crunch delivered richness and texture. Salted caramel drops added burnt-sugar depth, berries gave freshness and acidity, though cherry slightly overshadowed the caramel at times. Overall Impression: A masterclass in progression – sharp openings, indulgent finales, layered textures, and bold flavors. Minor missteps (excess vinegar, sticky meringue, slight clashes) aside, creativity and execution made this an exceptional fine dining experience.

Absolutely, stunning birthday dinner! We had the best table with the best view with the best waiter. The food was outstanding exceeded all of our expectations. I had a wonderful birthday celebration and will definitely be back on my next trip to Rome!

Absolutely loved our lunch at Oro Bistrot!! The venue, view, service, food and atmosphere were all a 10/10!! I absolutely recommend! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Rome!

My husband and I dined here during our stay in Rome. We did not anticipate how wonderful the food, service, and ambiance truly would be. The food was incredible, the closest thing to a Michelin star meal we experienced in Rome. The management and staff were so kind, friendly, incredibly professional, and made our dining experience very special. Giorgio and Vladi particularly stood out to us as they introduced us to different dishes, shared many laughs and conversations with us, and were just absolute rockstars throughout the entire experience. We had the chef's special tasting, ranging from scallops, veal, lamb, and followed by several desserts. There were many complimentary starters as well. Each dish was jam packed with different flavors, fresh ingredients, and served with a brief explanation of where the ingredients came from. The food was SO good that we had to come back the next day! The views of the city were also incredible, especially around sunset and night time. I highly recommend Oro Bistrot to anyone looking for a great meal and lovely service. We will definitely return when we come back to Rome! Grazie tanto Oro Bistrot dining team, you made our last nights in Rome unforgettable!!
