The dishes were absolutely delicious. Two of us had fettuccine with the cheek, veal and artichoke hearts. The pasta was amazing. The veal Saltimbocca was also extremely tasty. highly recommend

The food was so amazing, we went back twice! Large menu with versatility. The piano player added a great touch to the evening, especially when he started playing the Harry Potter theme song. If we ever make it back to Rome, this will be our first stop.

We made a last minute reservation and were so impressed. Friendly staff and great food—their “favorites” were all spectacular. The caprese is a must have, eggplant was great and spaghettoni and meatballs were awesome.

I very much enjoyed my dinner at Tavern Urbana. For an appetizer we got the meat and cheese tower, definitely need a minimum of 2 people for that. The ricotta with the honey on top was absolutely amazing. It tasted almost as good as the homemade ricotta my Nonna makes. For primi I got the Burrata and Pistachio ravioli which I liked very much. While it didn’t have the most “explosive” flavor, it was subtle and tasty. My boyfriend got the pasta in the cheese wheel. Everyone in the restaurant paused to watch it get spun around and made. For only 6€ more to spin it around in the cheese wheel it was 100% worth it and they really did load it up. For my second I got the veal, this was my first time trying veal, the meat itself was cooked well and smothered in sauce but I just personally didn’t care for it just not my style but if you’re someone who likes veal I think you’d enjoy it. Lastly for dessert we shared a tiramisu which was absolutely phenomenal. Don’t be fooled by the lack of lady fingers in the appearance. There wasn’t a lot but boy were they SOAKED in coffee and that cream was absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back to Tavern Urbana if I ever find myself back in Rome.
