Valhalla Smokehouse began as a food truck in 2020, built on long days, real smoke, and a love for authentic barbecue.

What started as a passion project quickly earned a loyal following, leading us to open our restaurant in 2024.

Today, we proudly serve slow-smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, burgers, catering, and family-style feasts in a warm atmosphere inspired by great food, great company, and a little bit of Viking spirit.

Wonderful experience! The staff was very fast & friendly and the BBQ so yummy. Had an Odin’s feast and my other half had the special roast beef with garlic potatoes. The meats were full of flavour and the Mac and cheese was creamy. My fave was the pork belly. So much food and I will enjoy a lunch tomorrow too!

Had the special this evening it was so good. You can really tell they put the love in the food. Our server was Jordanne she was amazing very attentive we had the smoky Caesar highly recommend all around

had a great experience! servers were friendly and curtious, food was delicous and portions are big enough that i have dinner for tonight aswell, will definatly come back!

Service was okay but the server did not place the order correctly when it came to giving us our bill… even though when she took our order, we were wanting the senior’s turkey dinner …she even questioned us to make sure that we did not want the big platter but the smaller plate… we both said yes to the $18 senior’s meal on the smaller plate… when it csme to paying for our bill it was $58 … and I said that this was supposed to be $36… she said oh you asked for the larger platter…my husband and said no we asked for the seniors smaller plate meal.. so she said she had to tslk to her manager to get it corrected… which she did… we have been here twice and the same thing happened with getting the bill incorrect. We slso were very disappointed with the meal… it was extremely salty, the turkey and the stuffing especially Which caused us stomach discomfort later. We were happy with our meal the first time we came. And was looking very forward to yesterday’s meal which made us wonder if we want to come back

I talked to the Front Manager and from what I understand your bill was corrected. We had a lot of reviews on the Turkey dinner and had a lot of positive feed back, so I would assume that this meal was just not for you. This happens in the restaurant business as we cook for the majority not the individual. We sold 20 Turkeys this weekend and it was a great success, unfortunately you did not seem to like it. Seems like maybe the servers are getting a little confused when you guys order. This is unfortunate but it happens time to time, If we can do anything in the future to help make this better please reach out.

no smoke on the meat. i smoke lots of meat and there was no smoke. best were the fries . beans seemed to be out of a can. mac n cheese missing flavor sorry won't be back

Your no Smoke on the meat is a hard one to understand as we use very high end smokers and I have never heard this before. Also thanks for taking the time to slam us on Google and Open Table. Can't make every one happy I guess, good luck in the future.

Fully enjoyed our dinner at Valhalla Smoke House as visitors from Ontario on Rd trip with Son from Edmonton to Victoria via Kamloops. Had read reviews and took a chance. As mentioned in reviews the location in an Industrial area is interesting but the restaurant was FAB!
